Mental health affects us all regardless of who we are, no matter how mature or how strong, or even where we come from.
Today is world mental health day and here are a couple of reminders for you
Even if it feels like it, you are not alone. If you are struggling, the bravest thing you can do is reach out to someone and ask for help.
No feeling lasts forever, nothing ever stays the same. Not the best situations and not even the most terrible ones. You have survived 100% of your bad days, and that is what made you stronger now. No matter what your anxiety-ridden overthinking brain tells you, you are enough, and no, your friends don’t secretly hate you.
Take care of yourself the best you can, given the resources that you do have. Dance to that song you love, put on mascara, ask that girl out, live, and laugh like there’s no tomorrow.
Mental health is incredibly important and yet there is still a stigma attached, even more so towards men. Nobody chooses to suffer from mental health problems and often the person hurting the most goes ignored. This has to stop.
If you feel like you’re struggling, reach out to us or express yourselves in our ventroom anonymously: https://tellonym.me/mon.aidbd.
Please don’t give up.
